(Mar. 13) – Pirelli technology for the winter was the star of “Snow on Board”, an event organized by the Italian company in St. Petersburg to present their latest innovations to the international media: last generation of winter tires, snowboarding (with the new project created by Pirelli PZero in collaboration with Burton) and fashion, with the new suits Pzero. The event was held in the center of the city and at the skidrome Igora Park, 80 km north of St. Petersburg, where temperatures in winter reach -10 degrees. Testimonial of “Snow on Board” Vitali Petrov, pilot of Formula 1TM, and the top models Eugenia Volodina and Tanya Mityusina. Newborn of the Pirelli family, the PZero snowboard line, which is composed by the snowboard Mystery – the lightest ever made by Burton and custom built as racing cars, from which it takes inspiration lines and colors -, the bindings and the Ion boots, focal point of the collection. Pirelli researchers have developed for the sole a compound and a design inspired by the Pirelli tires, to ensure the highest comfort and control. (Roc/Peg)
