It has been provided 53 hemodialysis units located throughout the country for an amount of about 3.5 million euros. The Italian Ambassador Varricchio stressed that “this important initiative, which took place following the Italian-Serb Summit, confirms the prominent role of the Italian Cooperation in the relations between the two countries” The center was closed in October 2009 because of the great fire that destroyed a large part of the main building.
