(Mar. 22) – MK Fintel Wind, a Serbian subsidiary of Fintel Energia Group, Italian company active in developing wind farms, has obtained the Location Permit for the project called “Kula”, a wind farm with a total capacity of 9 MW planned in the Kula area, in Serbia. The last stage of the procedure for the construction of a wind farm in Serbia is represented by the Construction Permit, a duty that follows a well defined timeframe. The Group has already signed leases relating to land on which the plant will be realized and obtained a non-binding term sheet for financing part of Green for Growth Fund, Southeast Europe and Banca Intesa Belgrade. “The Location Permit proves that the group’s strategy to enter the Serbian market is giving the expected results,” said Tiziano Giovannetti, CEO of Fintel Energy Group. The projects approved and to be authorized exceed 168 MW, and this places the group in a position of undisputed leadership. Fintel Energy Group is now recognized by local authorities as a capable and reliable company, able to accommodate the demands of communities, environmentalists and central government. By the summer, there would have been added another important piece: the Territorial Committee of Vojvodina has issued a positive opinion to the 117 MW central called Kosava. So we are waiting the Location Permit for this important project.” (Caf/Peg)
