(Mar. 28) – Missoni, the Italian fashion house, has unveiled plans to lend its home line to its first ever residential property. Teaming up with Century Properties, who have previously worked with Versace Home, the brand will design and decorate a 52-storey building, Acqua Livingstone, which lies in the heart of the Philippine capital, Manila. “Living in a MissoniHome-designed address is a rare lifestyle experience,” said Century’s managing director Marco Antonio, who has worked alongside the brand to create this multi-level tower. And an experience it promises to be, with each luxury condominium decorated in the luxury brand’s signature prints, patterns, and bright colour clashes only seen before in the Missoni-branded hotels in Kuwait and Edinburgh. The jewel in Acqua Livingstone’s crown, however, are the Canopy levels at the top of the building, housing function rooms, a jacuzzi, library, swimming pool and spa, as well as an open air dining area and dance floor, all decorated in Missoni’s colourful style. Acqua Livingstone will sit next to three adjacent Acqua towers, Niagara, Sutherland and Dettifoss, and will contain 645 ‘condos’ of various sizes. (Peg)
