(Mar. 30) – A double international prize for the Made in Italy. Manfrotto, a world leader in design, manufacture and distribution of professional products for the Imaging industry, has received two major awards at the Red Dot Design Awards 2012, one of the most important design competitions worldwide. Two Manfrotto products have won the prize awarded by an international jury that selected them among 4,415 projects submitted by designers and companies from 58 countries. The jury determined that both Manfrotto supports were known for their “unique and innovative design, cleverly combined with cutting edge technology and extremely simple to use.” Winners will be awarded during a ceremony scheduled for July 2 at Aalto-Theater in Essen, Germany. The gala, called “Red Dot Award: Product Design” will be attended by over 1,000 international guests from the world of design, industry, politics and media. “These awards given by an international jury of such a high level – according to a note of the company – once again attest to the value and quality of Italian design, placing Manfrotto among the best companies in the world for innovation , research and development.” (Ram/Peg)
