(Apr. 10) – A special signature for the first capsule collection of PZero, a Pirelli industrial design project for clothing. The American actor and director John Malkovich, who launched his fashion brand Technobohemian in 2009, has teamed up with Pirelli P Zero to design a shoe line, which will include two styles, both featuring Pirelli P Zero’s signature tire-inspired soles and available in denim or in a more sophisticated laser-cut calf version. The first collaboration between Pirelli P Zero and Malkovich dates back to 2005, when the American actor appeared with Naomi Campbell in “The Call,” the company’s first short film directed by Antoine Fuqua. Products designed by Malkovich will be sold exclusively in the first Pirelli flagship store in Milan. The PZero line is distributed in Italy in more than 300 clothing and footwear stores, including Biffi in Milan, Cenci in Rome, Bini in Viareggio, Raspini in Florence, Sugar in Arezzo, Giglio in Palermo. Already established its presence abroad, particularly in Spain, Benelux, United Kingdom, Russia and the Middle East and in many stores such as Harrods in London, Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, Bosco dei Ciliegi in Moscow, and Bugatti in Dubai.
