(Apr. 12) – Next July, prestigious Italian fashion school ‘Istituto Marangoni’ will open its first fashion and design training center in China. The new center will be host in the Italian Pavilion at the Shangai World Expo Park, as los as other Italian brands, like Ferrari, Triennale di Milano and Altagamma. ‘Marangoni Center’ will be the first fashion and design center for fashion and design professionals and operators. The Center will open its doors to students in early July, offering up to 24 weeks training program, on issues related with fashion design, retail, visual merchandising and modeling. The courses will be taught by Italian and Chinese teachers and using Marangoni’s teaching method, alternating lessons in theory theory and practice. During the opening night Marangoni Institute will welcome guests creative fashion show designed by school’s students, confirming its commitment to support young talent and giving them the opportunity to present their collections in a unique and international context. In the Italian Pavilion, Istituto Marangoni will host a three months exhibition of three of the Institute’s best graduates, Vera Thordardottir from Iceland, Rocco Iannone from Italy and Zhang Chi from China.
