(May 9) – From May 5 to 7, the Danish cities of Herning and Horsens hosted the first three stages of the Giro d’Italia, which runs until May 27. And the butterfly of Trentino, symbol of the region,participated in all the stages with banners and balloons positioned along the path. By partnering with the historic Italian Cycle race, Trentino had the opportunity to present its territory and promote holidays in the region is. In order to raise their profile in a new market like the Danish one, it has been basic the long partnership with the Giro d’Italia. In fact cycling is not only one of the most popular sports in Europe, but also a perfect example of an active holiday in the province of Trento, where there are over 400 km of cycle paths.
