(May 28) The Italian participation at the Vietnam Business Forum 2012 has been concluded with a great. The vent, organized by UNIDO, was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from May 24 to 26, and it was attended by more than 40 Italian companies and institutions, which met 90 Vietnamese partners for a total of 300 bilateral meetings. Following many events organized in Italy by UNIDO to inform the business community about investment opportunities in Vietnam, the Business Forum has been a chance to understand the country’s potential as a target market, both for investment and industrial projects in sectors such textiles, footwear and furniture. Vietnam has been defined by many international observers as one of the most promising markets and it may be an ideal production platform for Italian companies who to start or expand their market presence in the most dynamic area in the world today.
