(May 29) Italy, through ENAV’s activitiee, continues its expansion into foreign markets: the Italian service provider has just won 2 international tenders in Kenya and Romania concerning the flight inspections services for validation and calibration of the radio signals of air navigation systems on the airports in both countries. The 2 contracts last one year -for a value of over one million Euros- represent a distinction of the quality of the ENAV’s air navigation services. In addition to Kenya and Romania, given the high level of performances achieved in the international air traffic control services and training, aeronautical consulting, flight inspection and engineering, ENAV already operates in Albania, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, Libya, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Trinidad and Tobago, China and Malaysia. “These first steps of our business development abroad are very important and significant for us,” said the CEO of ENAV Massimo Garbini. “The contracts signed will help the health of our income, particularly in this moment of crisis in air transportation that, with a significant reduction of flights, is affecting very negatively our core business. We are also proud to represent Italian excellence in so delicate and highly specialized field. (Red)
