(23 Jul) – Great participation for Apulian Excellence, a project to promote the Apulian excellence in London at the Cultural Olympiad. All scheduled events have taken place with a dense international presence. From the exhibition of contemporary art, to food and wine workshops, from promoting the film industry to fashion shows: these are just some of the initiatives that Regione Puglia is carrying out in London in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in London, the Association Accademia Apulia UK and Apulia Film Commission. “I am thrilled,” said Elena Gentile, Councilor for Welfare and Puglia in the World, “because we built a solid bridge between Apulia and England. London is one of the preferred destinations of Apulian young graduates, who have created a community in the City. Apulia is in the world,” continues Gentile, “and interacts with it. In these days we have brought to London the best of our productions, food and wine, art, film, music and fashion. The British stakeholders were literally conquered by the quality of our system. Now we just have to keep this relationship up. Thanks to Apulian people in the world, our region can communicate with the world and to them goes my appreciation.” (red)
