(Jul. 24) – The European Commission, through the ISFOL, has approved and funded the project “Itaca Laura Regano”, which awards two scholarships for two graduates in medicine from the province of Cosenza. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Italiana Trapiantati di Fegato (Aitf) in partnership with Missione Sviluppo and with the scientific support of doctors and professors from the Department of Transplantation of Bari’s University Hospital, the participation of transplant centers of Pisa, Udine, Cuneo, and Oncology Chair in Bari The project aims at young graduates in medicine and medical practitioners residing in the province of Cosenza. They winners could benefit of a 25 weeks internship in two of the major European centers operating in the field of liver transplantation. (red)
