(Aug. 16) The Habitat Biennale, held between September 22 and May 2013, will focus on sustainable development in the Eastern and Southeastern coasts of Italy. Indeed, Annika Patregnani, architect from Pescara and president of the event, regroups numerous experts to present “multidimensional knowledge” on cross border themes, held dear to the area. Different seminars and conferences will unite the different centers of the region, while Euro-parliamentarian Gianni Pittella will close the project on May 9 in Bruxelles. The 2012 edition of the Habitat Biennale explores the protection and promotion of the Adriatic-Ionic borders in accord with the common objectives of the 2020 European Strategy program (smart, sustainable and all-inclusive growth).
