(Aug. 30) – The Band of the Carabinieri will perform for the first time at the Spasskaya Bashnya Festival, an international event which brings together the best military bands in the world and that coincides with the celebrations for the anniversary of the city of Moscow. The Carabinieri Band will perform every night from 1 to 8 September in the Red Square, and from September 2 at 13 will provide the public with a unique performance at the Gorky Park. The festival is one of the most exciting cultural events in Russia. In this edition, in the Red Square, together with the Carabinieri band, will play also representatives of the Russian Federation, Austria, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Singapore, France. The main theme of the festival 2012 will be the 200th anniversary of Russia’s victory in the War of 1812. (Red)
