Oct. 2 – In occasion of the 37th National Italian American Foundation anniversary, on October 13, the National Lincei Academy will be awarded the Special Recognition for Academic Contributions. Letizia Moratti, president of the Friends of San Patrignano association, and Giovanni Ferrero, Ferrero’s CEO, will also receive an award. The Italian Ambassador to the United States, Francesco Paolo Fulci, will collect the award in Ferrero’s name. Over 2000 participants are expected for this year’s gala, both American and Italian nationals. NIAF recently declared that the tickets to participate are available for $400, and the money cumulated will be dedicated to educational programs promoted by the association.
