Oct. 11 – The famous Italian writer and screenwriter Erri De Luca will be in Houston on November 7 and 8, for the Italian Language Week. On November 7, De Luca will participate with professor Alessandro Carrera in the conference that will follow the screening of the short film “Napolide,” held at the Italian Communities Cultural Center. The following day, he will meet with students from the University of Houston. De Luca’s visit is organized by the General Italian Consulate in Houston, University of Houston, University of St. Thomas, and the Italian Communities Cultural Center.
