Oct. 12 – The National Confederation of Small and Medium Artisanal Enterprises and Liguria International are currently promoting in Nuremberg some twenty small firms from Liguria, expert in the food and wine sector. In the coming days, they will fly to Germany with the best traditional Ligura products of the highest quality: from pesto to salami, oil, deserts, alcohol, pasta and much more. The event goes by the name “Profumo di Pesto – Pesto Perfume.” The selected companies, originally 50, participated in a formative event, in Genoa, on German regulations, laws, market regulations and traditions, held by German experts. Only 30 firms judged their production to be up to German standards and thus entered the second phase, and with the help of CNA, they sent samples of their products to Nuremberg. GVS experts then analyzed the products, based on quality, packaging, availability in the German markets, and local consumers’ behavior.
