Oct. 29 – Maintaining their passion for internationalization, Veronafiere and Vinitaly in the World head off to Russia and Hong Kong to promote Italian wine excellence. The project aims at supporting producers in different markets, regulated by increasing complexities and relations between suppliers, interlocutors, and import dynamics. After last April’s event in the US, Vinitaly in the World is in Moscow today and tomorrow, before heading to Hong Kong from November 8 though 10. Over 200 Italian producers will be present to get in touch with local operators (more than 30.000). Both legs are filled with exciting events, with moments dedicated to the origins of specific Italian wines, and forums and roundtables centred on understanding the business. The Chinese event is a follow-up on the already active wine-culture dissemination project in the country, and in light of this Vinitaly in the World is partnering up with PastaTrend, in order to offer a complete picture of the Italian food and wine scene. Other scheduled events include special tastings at the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival, in which over 150.000 visitors are expected to participate.
