Oct. 31 – The best of Italy’s touristic offer, represented by 11 regions, Roma Capitale, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and the Province of Terni, and united by Enit-Agency, will be in London from November 5 to November 8 for the World Food Market, the most important touristic fair in the European market. ExCel, near the London Docklands, will guarantee the Italian team an exhibition space of 1200 square meters, where conferences and roundtables will take place. The World Food Market is known for being one of those key moments for
trade: the 47.776 participants, 28.183 visitors and a volume of trade estimated around £1.425.999 for 2011, make the 2012 edition all the more promising. On November 4th, Enit will hold its traditional briefing to Italian operators on the UK market, at the Jumeirah-Carton Tower Hotel. “Compared to other countries, Italy is still considered by British tourists as a top-quality destination, even though it’s expensive – says Pier Luigi Celli, president of Enit – This is confirmed by the latest award given by Condé Nast Traveller, one of the top magazines in terms of international tourism. Its readers pointed at Italy as the Number One in the World. It is nice to see that the world press concerns itself with Italy and Italian products, and also partly thanks to Enit’s efforts, in the past two years, a great majority of the articles written about Italy have been positive.”
