Dec. 11 – Two Florentine garden designers, Stefano Passerotti and Anna Piussi of Passerotti Piussi Gardens, will participate in the prestigious RHS Garden Show, held in Chelsea (London) from 21 to 25 May 2013. Stefano and Anna are among the few Italians who have had the opportunity to present their work in this great showcase, which has several selection stages. Among the Italians who have recently participated, there are Bortolotti in 2001, Giubbilei (based in London) in 2009 and Decembrini and Zani in 2010. On the occasion of the centenary of the Royal Horticoltural Society of Chelsea Stephen and Anna will propose for Flower Show a garden called “The Sonic Pangea Garden.” It is a celebration of nature in all its incarnations:
inspired by classical myths but also highly innovative, the garden is part of the “Fresh Gardens” category, dedicated to the most original new proposals. The Sonic Pangea Garden is an enchanted forest whose stems emerge from rich blooms; in the clearing, an altar dedicated to Pan, God of the Woods, is a short distance from a circular chaise longue rising from the ground. The latter is dedicated to Gaea, Mother Earth, and it is fully covered with plants.
