Dec. 28 – To welcome the Year of Italian Culture in Hungary, the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest organized from Sunday, January 6 to 19 at the Sala Verdi, a series of concerts that will feature the Ensemble Carmina et Cantica with the artistic direction of Beatrice Bianco. The contralto Cristina Melis, the sopranos Marcella Orsatti Talamanca and Camilla Corsi, the tenor Gianluca Zampieri will accompany the Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar Orchestra, directed by Stefano Seghedoni. Together they will perform the oratorio “The Death of St. Joseph” by Giovan Battista Pergolesi.
