Feb. 4 – Gabriele Marrangoni, owner of Mosciano Sant’Angelo and chef at Country House Borgo Spoltino recently cooked a traditional Abbruzzo meal for the 300 participants in the Abruzzo & Molise Gala organized by the Italian American Spirit in Philadelphia. The chef was also coordinator of the culinary event, which took place in the prestigious Franklin Apartments and was organized by the president of the Franco J. Costanzo Association. The proceeds of the initiative were donated to the Cancer Center of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as well as to a project that intends to commemorate Molise’s earthquake ten year anniversary. “Being considered and invited to this important event was an honor for me – says Marrangoni – more so because it was to the benefit of our brothers in Molise, a region that has always shared territorial and historical analogies with Abbruzzo”.
