Feb. 13 – Orders already booked for the next two years and a positive sales trend: this is how Cantiere delle Marche, thanks to its exports, defeats the crisis. And, strong of these results, it continues its mission in the US, where, after participating at the show in Fort Lauderdale, it will also attend the Miami International Boat Show with its Explorer Yacht Darwin Class 86 ‘M / Y Percheron. The Explorer vessel is 26 meters of steel and aluminum constructed at the Cantiere delle Marche and designed by Engineer Sergio Cutolo, responsible for the Hydro Tec study. The Miami International Boat Show, with its 2 thousand exhibitors and about 3 thousand boats, is the largest gathering of international sailing and a critically strategic showcase for Italian producers. In fact, Italy has always been at the top of exporting countries with a share of production to international markets of about 63%. The American market is undoubtedly of great interest for the marine industry in general and specifically for the Italian one with regard to their production absorption capacity. The U.S., in fact, equals, in terms of port infrastructure, the whole of Europe, leading the world ranking of berths, with a number equal to about 5 times Italy and 3 times Great Britain (which happens to be the second in the world after precisely the United States). The new Darwin Class 86 – M / Y Percheron model has layout characteristics completely different from the previous “Vitadimare3”, which marked the debut of the Ancona shipyard for yachts in steel and aluminum production (in 2011). These important differences testify to the great flexibility to meet all the needs and wishes of their customers, bringing the customization of all CDM projects to very unusual levels for yachts this size.
