(Mar 26th) – Moda Made in Italy, an ANCI-organized show dedicated to high and medium-high-end footwear, celebrates its 20 year anniversary. From 24 to 26 March, 130 exhibitors will display new items from the fall/winter 2013-14 season for its 40th edition. Facing a troubled European market, the event is a point of reference for the industry and provides an ideal opportunity for sector operators to bring in orders at the end of the sales season, offering dedicated services to exhibitors and visitors. In particular, the first day’s schedule includes time dedicated to new fashion trends, managed by trend forecaster Aldo Premoli. Each year, the event introduces new fashion trends on the German market, which has always attracted Italian products and the excellence of Made in Italy footwear. Munich’s MOC is not only a strategic opportunity for Germany but also for the neighboring markets like Switzerland, Austria and northern Europe. It’s an important anniversary for MOC, which will celebrate its 20 years at the event’s opening with the famous chef Ernst Knam of television program ‘Il Re del Cioccolato’ (‘The King of Chocolate’). It’s a success that will also take place in 2014. Next year’s dates have been scheduled for March 23-25 and October 10-12. (Peg)
