May 2 – Kazimierz Dolny is a small town on the right bank of the Vistula, in the center of Poland. Popular during the Renaissance, rich in monuments and history, it is also the final destination of “Around Europe in 80 Days,” which ends on Saturday May 4 at 17:30 at the Delfini library in Corso Canalgrande 103. The Polish city was chosen by anthropologist Piergiorgio Giacché to conclude the literary tour organized by Emilia Romagna Theatre, the Delfini Library and the Amici dei Teatri. The event is a cultural itinerary that touched ten European cities, narrated by actors such as Simona Marchini, philologists like Luciano Canfora, directors and musicians. Large capital and little known places have alternated in the literary tour, which is part of the “The Rape of Europa” project.
