(Jun. 4) – The Region of Veneto will be today at the Transport/Logistics in Munich. It will be an opportunity to present its excellence and attract investment. From 2 pm to 4.30 pm there will be a workshop in which various institutional players will discuss the key issues on the promotion of intermodal facilities, or those used by UTI (better known as containers), through different means of transport, to reach the more distant destinations. The workshop will focus in particular on the exploitation of the industrial stakeholders in the logistics system of the Northern Adriatic. There will be a discussion about the main obstacles to full interconnection between ports, intermodal freight and multimodal systems for the creation of a Single Transport Area in Southeastern Europe, where yet this system is not widely used. All this will happen during a workshop which aims to attract investments in the field of sustainable mobility management and integrated supply chains, essential for territorial development and for regional integration at a European level.
