(Jun. 12) – The region of Trentino has been involved in a three-day roadshow in three major cities of Russia, for the presentation of its tourism offer for winter and summer to a market that is showing a significant growth. The event, sponsored by Trentino Sviluppo – Turismo e Promozione, with the participation of Apt Val di Sole, Madonna di Campiglio – Pinzolo – Val Rendena. Dolomiti-Paganella, Val di Fassa and San Martino di Castrozza, gave birth to a mini-tour with a series of meetings with experts in St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Samara. Waiting for them, in each location there were 30 representatives of tour operators and travel agencies, to which was presented Trentino’s tourism offer for winter and summer. The interest towards the Italian region has also confirmed by data on arrivals and presences of the Russian Federation in recent years. This market stands at the eighth place among foreign arrivals (the fourth with regard to winter only) in Trentino, but in the last five years has shown the highest growth.(Peg)
