July 11 – After the success of the Italian wines in China, promoted and financed by the Ministry of Economic Development, in agreement with the Italian Wine Union and Federvini, with the support of Enoteca Italiana, it is now Taiwan’s turn. The project is called “Italian Wines in Taiwan” and is divided into two phases. The first is a seminar in the capital, Taipei, scheduled for November 2013, addressed to journalists, opinion leaders, operators, and department stores’ buyers in order to introduce them to Italian wine making, and B2B meetings with the Food & Beverage Managers of the leading hotels, restaurants, and tour operators. These will be followed by a food and wine combination tasting, to begin to fill the substantial knowledge gaps and information on Italian wine in the Taiwanese market.
