July 23 – Pizza World Show, the annual event dedicated to pizza and the world Ho.re.ca, is setting up its 2014 edition, scheduled April 7 to 9 in Parma. The event recorded 20,000 visitors in its first edition, as well as a hundred exhibitors and an audience of highly profiled buyers. And Pizza World Show is now ready to repeat the success that made it an important event in the Italian panorama, enriched by new promotional initiatives and a renewed international vocation. The aim of the event will be to propose the Italian product abroad, in countries where strong growth often leads to imitations and fakes to unduly occupy the market. And it is precisely in these growing markets, such as Brazil (where 30 million pizzas are consumed per month in the city of São Paulo), that Fiere di Parma is making its debut. Namely, the association introduced itself at Fispal Food Service, the main agribusiness showcase of Sao Paulo; during the event, scheduled for June 25-28, it set up a stand to intercept and strike deals with the more dynamic local players. “Our aim is to help Italian companies by supporting them in the path of export growth. This is a crucial service in today’s economic climate, and we provide them with the platform of international relations already developed by Fiere di Parma and at the same time we aim at professionalizing more and more small producers of quality by providing them with important opportunities. These – says Roberto Giacomin, Brand Manager at Pizza World Show – are our lines of development to become a leading asset for the promotion of real Italian food in the world.”
