Oct. 2 – “Nanotechnology and Sustainability: New Research in Italy and the United States” is the title of the international meeting that kicks off today in New York. The host is the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. The two-day study will feature sixteen eminent scholars from the two countries, among whom there will be three professors from the University of Trieste: Paolo Fornasiero, Alberto Morgante and Maurizio Prato. The three scientists – among the best at the international level in the field of nanotechnologies – have carried out many years of study and research abroad; and they are authors of numerous essays and articles published in journals of high international profile. The large Trieste presence testifies to the excellence of scientific research in nanotechnologies within the University.
