Oct. 22 – Bocelli sings in Italian, French, Spanish, English, Portuguese and Neapolitan. One of the most famous Italian singers in the world is now more international than ever with “Love in Portofino,” the latest project by the Tuscan tenor which is ready for its worldwide release. The record follows another international hit, “Passione”, which dominated charts all over the world, staying in Billboard200 for over two months. And today, after months of waiting, the cd + dvd recording project by the Sugar Music label – is finally available. The album contains live performances by Bocelli of important Italian and international songs, recorded in August 2012 in the famous Ligurian village square. The album contains hits such as: “Roma nun fa’ la stupida stasera,” “Sarà settembre (September Morn)”, “Era già tutto previsto”, “Tristeza”, “Qualche stupido ‘Ti amo’”, the Italian version of “Somethin’ Stupid”, recorded with his partner, Veronica Berti. The project also contains a DVD with images of the live event: “This is a new, beautiful and great opportunity for Liguria’s global promotion, provided for by the production and organization in Portofino,” said Angelo Berlangieri, the Tourism Councilor for the Liguria Region. “Love in Portofino – continues the councilor – was announced earlier this year in London by a trailer on the event’s website, with pictures of a breathtaking Portofino, the natural stage of the concert promoted by Sugar Music and recorded by the American PBS. This record is destined to repeat the success of previous Bocelli productions, such as the one in Central Park in New York.”
