Oct. 23 – A mission to Montreal and Boston with Marche businesses from the most innovative sectors: the Marche Region is leading, within the European Jade project, the delegation composed of a group of medicine, care and home automation systems for longevity companies. The Regional Councilor for the European Community and ICT, Paola Giorgi, is the head of the mission alongside Svim, Teuco, INRCA, Ideas, Arielab, Automa, Unipm, Unimc, Aditech, Filippetti, Meccano and Unicam. The objective is to compare strategies in the USA, Canada and Europe for the implementation of policies in favor of the independent living of the elderly. The meeting will specifically focus on initiating collaborations and partnerships in the field of industrial research and sharing good practice in the management of the challenges that an aging population imposes. “The region is leading Jade, – said Giorgi – a European project aimed at the research development and integration for home automation. The technologies for the creation of tailored environments to the lifestyle of the elderly represents a concrete answer for our aging population and offers new scenarios and market development for our companies.”
