Oct. 28 – China has rapidly become the fifth largest wine-consuming country in the world, representing one of the most attractive markets for Italian producers. And IEA, the Italian Exports Association, will bring into direct contact the industry operators, buyers and the press thanks to a number of projects. Among the latest IEA initiatives, there is a calendar of guided visits to the most interesting wine companies from three of Italy’s excellence regions: Friuli, Piedmont and Tuscany, which will meet a panel of experts from the Chinese market and present their best wines. “China – said in a statement the Association – is getting closer for Italian quality wine, a vital sector of the Italian economy that recently began redirecting its export strategic efforts towards experienced export associations, like the IEA, to create and consolidate new development channels and highly qualified promotional ways. It is no coincidence that the companies selected by the IEA welcome this type of operation, for which you need deep expertise in complex markets, such as the Chinese one. The Italian Exports Association translates its knowledge of trade dynamics and is able to identify the best strategies to develop reliable plans for the internationalization of Italian producers.”
