Nov. 5 – From tomorrow, the UAE will host a promotional initiative for Italian publishers’ culture in the Middle East, as the SIAE will sponsor the Italian Collective Stand at the Sharjah International Book Fair. The fair, to be held from tomorrow until November 16, will see for the first time an Italian collective publishers’ stand, which will be a point of reference for professionals and all lovers of Italian fiction and non-fiction. Now in its thirty-second edition, the most important publishing event of the Arab world offers the opportunity to exchange publishing rights, develop co-publishing projects and determine worldwide distribution trends. With over a 1.000 exhibitors, 53 participating countries (of which 23 Arab countries), 20.000 books on display and more than 400 titles, the Sharjah International Book Fair is the fourth largest trade fair in the world, a concrete opportunity for for those who want to be known in a market to exhibit their products, while remaining open towards the culture of other countries.
