Nov. 12 – There are four Italian champions in the new Panini “NBA Sticker Collection 2013-2014”, dedicated the world of basketball. The athletes Andrea Bargnani, Marco Belinelli and Danilo Gallinari will be included in the collection along with the big stars of the tournament. The recent arrival in the U.S. of Luigi Datome also holds a special place in the Panini album: his image will be sent to those collectors requesting missing images. The new collection, officially licensed by the National Basketball Association, opens with an institutional section containing the holographic figures of the NBA logo and trophy, as well as a double figurine with the Miami Heat team. The 30 teams are then introduced and divided into Eastern and Western Conference, with a part dedicated to the renewed New Orleans Pelicans formation. Each team has its own feature in a double page where logo stickers and those of eight players and two top players can be applied. Alongside the four Italian champions, there are pictures of all the great protagonists of the new season: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant. This year, Panini introduces a section dedicated to Sophomore stars, such as Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd – Gilchrist and the 2013 Rookie of the year: Damian Lillard. “Panini has now become a multinational company, but the heart remains Italian. In this sense, the NBA collection represents this year a historical moment in the Italian basketball movement,” said Antonio Allegra, market director for Italy. “For the first time, four of our fellow citizens will play in the largest basketball tournament in the world, an event that our loyal collectors will be able to follow through our NBA collection.”
