Dec. 3 – “The future of agriculture in Romania between Community instruments and financial services. A focus on necessary investments” is a conference organized for Dec. 4 by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania, in Bucharest. The event was anticipated by a sectoral focus in Padua last October, and wants Italian investors to understand the potential of agriculture in Romania. These issues will be further explored during the afternoon workshops in which experts and institutions will interact with the participants. “We consider that Romanian agriculture has great potential, considering the gap with the European Union. These gaps are a great opportunity that the Chamber wants to support – said the Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania, Adrian Dimache – We would like to draw the attention of the Romanian Government on the need for a general medium – long term strategy not subject to any changes by political actors. This is possible only if the ministries of agriculture, finance, European funding, environment, and energy coordinate. Agriculture is a national asset for Romania.”
