Dec. 24 – Vinoteca’s appointment in London is scheduled for February 27, at The Ironmongers’ Company. “Vinoteca 2014 – wine tasting event” is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK for Italian wine producers and UK buyers to promote Italian wines. The format will allow Italian producers to meet importers, distributors, buyers, agents and sommeliers from the UK and present their best wines and hopefully initiate partnerships. Thanks to the participation of journalists and industry experts, Vinoteca is now one of the major London attractions dedicated to Italian wine. The 2014 edition will see the Italian chamber of commerce and industry for the UK cooperate with Gambero Rosso, a leader in the food and wine sector in Italy and one of the reference points for consumers around the world. The London leg you include the Wines of Italy Gambero Rosso Tour, selected by the most authoritative guide to the field of Italian enology. Thus, many of this edition’s exhibitors have already been awarded the Three Glasses, the prize for the best quality/price ratio. The collaboration between Gambero Rosso and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK brings together two experienced promoters of Made in Italy abroad for the creation of a unique event. A particular accent will be placed on wines with the best quality / price ratios, or with a particular “edge”: native, biological or other peculiar characteristics.
