Dec. 30 – BRICKS is the Building Refurbishment with Increased Competences, Knowledge and Skills. The project involves in energy issues more than thirty European countries; Italy’s participation is guaranteed by Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia -Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Lazio, Campania and Abruzzo. The Italian regions will take part in the the development of tools and methodologies to achieve a training system leading to improved knowledge, skills and competencies for employees engaged in the rehabilitation of buildings and the use of renewable energy sources. The aim is to have, by 2020, a nearly 0 energy impact building park. In this way, explains the Italian Cooperatives Association, implementer of BRICKS in Italy, Italy will have a state-of-the-art national system, competitive with the rest of Europe and the world.
