Jan. 7 – After the 2013 success, this spring the China International Boat Show returns for its 19th edition. And Italian companies won’t hold back, thanks to the participation organized by ICE in collaboration with the Confindustria trade association UCINA (National Union of Shipyards, Nautical Industries and Related Products). The participating companies will occupy an exhibition area of about 310 square meters in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, venue of the event. The show dedicated to recreational boating will take place April 10-13, 2014. It is the most important event in Asia and represents an interesting opportunity for Italian companies. The yacht industry can be defined as “emerging” in the Asian country, as it is the offer that is creating demand. With improving living standards, the country has about 50 million potential buyers. Although China has 300,000 individuals with resources over a million dollars, for now there are only a thousand yacht owners.
