Jan. 30 – It’s a further step in internationalization, the scientific collaboration agreement for teaching, research, cooperation and exchange that the University of Siena signed with the Russian University of Nizhni Novgorod – Lobachevsky State University. A delegation of Russian professors arrived in Siena to sign the 5-year, renewable agreement that commits the parties to carry out joint research projects and exchange teachers and students within the “Euro-Russian” EU programs. Professor Maurizio Pompella, the director of the BS in Economics and Banking who initiated the relationship, welcomed the delegation. The scope of the cooperation agreement focuses mostly on economic subjects, in view of the joint launch of the newly formed School of Economics and Management. Other objectives will be related to projects for the benefit of students in the new European program Erasmus+.
