Feb. 6 – The University of Parma is increasingly international. In recent days, the University of Vilnius welcomed five students enrolled in the Master of Science in International Business and Development of the University of Parma. The lucky students are pursuing a double degree in International Business Economics and Management with the University of Vilnius. The program was made possible thanks to a cooperation agreement involving the two institutions, in an initiative for the internationalization program of the University of Parma and its Faculty of Economics. The aim is to increase the international mobility of students by offering new opportunities to study and experience life abroad. Students participating in the Parma project can spend a semester at the University of Vilnius, during which they can obtain, after passing the exams, 30 credits. At the time of graduation, they are given a double degree recognized by both universities. The same is valid for Vilnius students who decide to spend a period of time in Parma. The ceremony in Lithuania was attended by Professor Guglielmo Wolleb, scientific coordinator of the course, and Alessandro Bernazzoli, head of European and Intenrational Relations and Head of private research, technology transfer and contracts with public and private organizations. Wolleb, a member of the Science Commission, thanked the University of Vilnius on behalf of Loris Borghi, expressing full satisfaction in the first results. In fact, a first group of students is now graduating with a double degree in International Business Economics and Managemen (Department of Economics at the University of Vilnius) and in Master International Business and Development (Department of Economics at the University of Parma).
