Mar. 27 – From Rome to Los Angeles in the name of the web series, dramas designed for online viewers. Janet De Nardis and Maximiliano Gigliucci, artistic director and general manager of the Rome Web Fest, flew to California to take part in LAweb Fest, held until March 30 at the Radisson LAX Hotel. Born thanks to Michael Ajakwe Jr’s intutition five years ago, the event quickly established itself as an international point of reference for web series. In view of Roma Web Fest’s second edition, which will take place September 26-28 at the Maxxi, De Nardis and Gigliucci will meet with the directors of similar festivals based in Marseilles, Melbourne and Vancouver to create new synergies and collaborations.
