Mar. 27 – On Tuesda, ProWein came to an end in Dusseldorf. The most important German wine fair – and among the largest in the world – concluded its 21st edition with the success of Italian wines, which continue today to play a central role in the German wine scene. Indeed, the online magazine WinePlus, which has 200.000 readers worldwide, dedicated a special report on Pavia’s Pinot Noir. The region thus continues to promote its poster-child wine even after the end of the three-day ProWine event, a yearly appointment for all wine producers. In recent weeks, 60 wines made from Pinot Noir – including red wines, sparkling wines and Cruasé – were dispatched to the magazine Wein-Plus, which will soon release online its wine evalutations and guide on www.wein-plus.eu. “WeinPlus” is the most important reference point on the Internet for the world of wine.
