Sfax – The Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will participate in the 10th edition of Mediterranean Agriculture and Food Industries – Sma Medfood. The aims are to increase and strengthen economic relations between the two countries, and offer business opportunities to food industry companies. The International Fair of Sfax organized Sma Medfood in partnership with Utica, UTAP, Apia and the University of Sfax. The Fair will be held May 21-24 in Sfax, Tunisia’s most famous agricultural area. In Tunisia, the agricultural sector represents 3.5 % of the national GDP. The Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will attend the event with an institutional space within the Italian Pavilion, which will set up exhibition spaces for Italian companies active in agriculture, food industry and related activities (transport, logistics, packaging). The Chamber will also take care of the organization of business meetings with potential partners. (9Colonne)
