Seoul – The ICE is setting up, in collaboration with UCIMU Sistemi, a “Punto Italia” meeting point for the Simtos fair, dedicated to machine tools. The fair will go on until Sunday. South Korea is the 4th largest economy in Asia after Japan, China and India. In 2012, the country became the 4th largest machine tool producer, worth €4.4 million. Located in one of the world’s most dynamic areas (which produced 22% of global GDP), South Korea ranks 4th for machine tool consumption, after China, USA and Germany, and more than Japan. Italian machines are appreciated, and this gives great hopes to Italian businesses attending the event.
