Sao Paulo – Brazilian cinema recently produced and shot a movie that is now on screens across the country. “SOS: Mulheres ao Mar” saw 1 million people head to the box office in just two weeks. Shot almost entirely on an MSC cruise ship across the Mediterranean between Rome and Venice, the film’s evocative power and extraordinary images narrates the ideal romantic holiday for most Brazilians. In the South American country, cinema and fiction are a powerful marketing tool. This is why ENIT Sao Paulo has consolidated good relations with media television and film producers to develop tourism promotion projects. In October, ENIT will offer assistance to the crew shooting a part of “Diminuta” in Italy. (9Colonne)
