Apr. 16 – Monte Urano, the heart of the renowned footwear district of the Marche region, makes its way to Catalonia. The Elisabet Footwear production company continues its expansion into foreign markets, after last year’s openings in China and Georgia, announcing a new opening in Barcelona. The new Andrea Morelli store was opened in recent days in the heart of the Catalan city, in Carrer Rossello’ 218, next to Paseo de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya. This is the third store opening in Barcelona for the Italian brand (the other two stores are in Plaza de Gracia 55, Boulevard Rosa TDA45 and in Plaza Molina 7). Morelli is also present in China with two stores and with one in Georgia. “We will continue to invest in the growth of our brands, so as to boost our internationalization process – says the managing director of Elisabet, Marcello Vallasciani – We aim to strengthen our presence in Western Europe in established markets such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Greece, but we want to develop commercially in Eastern Europe, primarily Russia, as well as in the Middle East and the Far East.” The new store in Barcelona reflects the style of the Andrea Morelli brand: functional spaces, minimalist design and glamor. Inside the store offers brands owned by Andrea Morelli and Safari Walk, as well as licensed brands such as Byblos, Liu Jo Girl and Roberto Cavalli Junior.
