Beijing – “Invade us, Chinese friends!” is an original spot that is going viral on social networks. Starring Marco Zambuto, mayor of Agrigento, the brief commercial calls on Chinese travelers already visiting Italy’s beaches and art cities to visit the Valle dei Templi and Sicily, promising that the region won’t let them down. Produced by Klaus Davi, the spot was shot in the Valley for free. The short and effective message is the following: “Dear tourists from around the world, dear Chinese friend. My name is Marco Zambuto, mayor of the wonderful city of Agrigento. What you see behind me is the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO world heritage site. Agrigento and Sicily are genuine pearls in Italy and Europe. We offer sun, sea, gastronomy, history and fun in a unique blend. If you’re visiting Italy, not stopping in Agrigento or Sicily is a sin. So, you’re all welcome. Come, invade us. We won’t disappoint you.” (9Colonne)
