Chiriqui – Enel Green Power has arrived in Panama with an electrification project for the Fortuna community, in the province of Chiriqui. The initiative will provide electricity to 35 buildings (33 houses, a school and a cooperative) for a total of about 100 people living near the Fortuna hydroelectric power station. The project consists of a 7,200-meter long medium voltage line and a 5,000-meter low voltage line. Enel Green Power is engaged in sustainable development and environmental protection in Panama through projects with the Chiriqui population, donating funds and offering time and knowledge through volunteer committees to help in the implementation of various projects.
