Brussels – On Wednesday, at 6pm, the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels will inaugurate the photo exhibition “Scraps” by Francesco Cabras. The artist will present a series of photographs taken during his work experience and travel abroad: Israel, India, Palestine, Mexico, Indonesia, Iraq… For all the people or places that Cabras immortalized, he chose to highlight change and transition, documenting all possible transformations. Cabras explains the photographic project as “what remains of [his] travels, prolonged or impromptu experiences outside the environment in which [he] grew up.” Cabras is also assisting in the creation of a monographic volume on his works, productions and researches. The exhibition was organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels in collaboration with the Raffaella De Chirico Turin Art Gallery. (9Colonne)
